Remind me how this works again..

It’s been so long since I’ve written anything more than 140 characters that I’m still dusting off the cobwebs from my keyboard, but while I do this (and yes, I know I’m almost a month behind on this particular campaign) I need to share this with you.

The new Cadbury flake advert – which everyone know has pissed off Alexander McQueen’s label for its similarity to his famous 2006 hologram image of Kate Moss – is one of the most disturbing ads I’ve seen for ages. Not only has not only done away with the iconic tag line “Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate” but it looks like floating tripe. I really thought it was going to be another stop-doing-something-bad-for-your-health ad when I first saw it. How the power of advertising has failed: I’m now even more disinclined to eat Kraftadbury. So long, great love of mine.
